9. Birthday cake candles in preparation for Barnes' 25th birthday visit to America. Thursday-Sunday in Providence and Boston, IHOP, mini golf, go karting and so so much food.

10. First sunny walk to work, sun bouncing off the zebra crossing and the sun feeling very warm on my face.

11. Cocktails at The Dorrance in the bank vault, the arrival of a surprisingly awkward new friend and cheesecake on the way home.

12. Learning my lessons from the week before. Slathering on the sun lotion and wearing shorts, smelling like a biscuit and spending the day in the sun playing golf and driving go karts before finishing off the evening with chicken wings and beer at our new local in Hope.

13. Family photo for mum because Skype wasn't working. 

14. Bare legs and a flippy dress for work because it's a glorious day. Bracing myself for the icy blast when walking through the car park door but being greeted by bird song and a fresh warm morning. Drove to work though because I thought bug looked lonely.
